Laurie Gamble

Laurie has been a member of Gloucester brass

since 1992 when the band was started.

He plays the Drums. He has also taught other people

to play such as Pam, the present percussionist,

Paul (who now plays in a rock band) and a few others.

His previous band was Gloucester Excelsior which he joined

in 1973

He is a retired outdoor advertiser, (billposter)

Favourite piece of music; Highland Cathedral

Worst piece; None, he likes all music!

His most memorable moment; "When my first drum kit was presented to me"

Other interests; "The Hustlers jazz and ragtime band, and the Hooky street ragtime jazz band".
